News24 reported that Tyla won her second Grammy, for Best African Music Performance with “Push 2 Start”, announced at the 68th Grammy Awards premiere ceremony on February 1, 2026. She had won the inaugural award in that category in 2024 with “Water”. News24 reported that she did not accept the award on stage.

The South African reported on October 9, 2025 that “Water” had passed 1.2 billion Spotify streams, the first solo song by a female African artist to do so. A stream count is not her earnings.
Forbes Africa reported on July 25, 2026 that “Water” had passed 1.43 billion Spotify streams, and that Tyla draws more than 30.8 million monthly listeners on the platform.
What is known about Tyla’s Nike partnership?
Nike’s own interview with Tyla, published February 7, 2025, announced a new partnership between Nike and Tyla. In it she described herself as a lifelong Nike fan and said she was excited to work with the brand, “not only to wear the clothes but to hopefully create something with the team too. Hypebae reported on August 3, 2026 that Tyla fronts a Kate Spade campaign as a brand ambassador. None of these reports state her earnings from the album, the tour or the campaign.
