This year has been a mix of tons and tons of trends. One of those many trends is skincare. People all over the world have been thriving this year when it comes to skincare. There are multiple YouTube videos and TikTok’s that I have seen on just the wonders that having a skincare routine has done for people. I have gathered some skincare products that seem to have worked for many different skin types and put them in this one article to give you the skincare routine of your dreams going into 2021!
Cleansers
CeraVe
One of the biggest skincare brands out there right now is CeraVe. They have amazing and affordable products for people with any skin type. One that has been reviewed and tested a ton this year is the CeraVe SA Renewing Cleanser which costs around $14.00. This cleanser is great for overall cleanliness. It is a mild exfoliant and is salicylic acid which smooths and softens the skin. Another huge bonus of this cleanser is that it is fragrance free! One of the biggest no-no’s in the skincare world is using products with perfume or fragrance in them. Sometimes fragrance can be good if it derives from natural ingredients, but most of the time it is best to stay away from any fragrance if you have sensitive skin.
Youth to the People
Another amazing cleanser is Youth to the People’s Kale + Green Tea Cleanser which is $36.00. The price is higher, but the ingredients are amazing! This cleanser is a superfood antioxidant which treats your skin right. It supports your skin’s natural pH balance and prevents buildup or grime from living in your pores. The kale in the cleanser gives your skin all the vitamins it needs to give you a glow and the green tea fights against any signs of aging.
Toners and Serums
Bliss
An amazing product for toner and serum is Bliss Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum. This product is around $18.00, and it has a gel like consistency that feels refreshing on your skin. It has salicylic acid which clears you pores and reduces oil buildup, witch hazel water which soothes and tones the skin, and zinc PCA which calms redness in the skin.
Paula’s Choice
Another awesome toner and serum is Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant listed at $10.00. This is a very gentle product that unclogs any pores, smooths wrinkles, and brightens your face to bring out a glowing complexion. Like the other products, it has salicylic acid and green tea which helps with aging, clear pores, and soothing any irritation.
Moisturizers
Versed
A great product to try to moisturize your skin and make you look new again is the Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream. This costs $15.00 and works very well. It is lightweight on your skin and doesn’t drown you in an oily or greasy feeling. It has aloe leaf juice to hydrate your skin and give you a nice luminescent look while still giving you the antioxidants and food your skin needs. It is vegan and cruelty free and is completely free of any parabens and fragrance.
Youth to the People
If your bank account can handle it, another great product to try is Youth to the People’s Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream that will cost you $58.00. I know the price is something to be desired, but the product is truly amazing! It has everything you need. The product includes ashwagandha which helps reduce visible signs of fatigue making your skin look awake and fresh. Alongside that, it has fermented Reishi which sounds disgusting, but it has super hydrating and detoxifying qualities that take this moisturizer to the next level.
There are several types of acne which differ from each other depending on the type of pumps on the skin. There are inflammatory and non inflammatory acne types. Successfully I had whiteheads on my face and this type of acne is called non-inflammatory and is treated more easier than the inflammatory ones. I started using Accutane (Isotretinoin) from on Sunday and after 7 days I had visible improvements on my skin. Accutane really did a great job with my skin.
Don’t Forget the Sunscreen!

Finally, the most important step of your routine that will make your skin look young and healthy is sunscreen.
