If the only thing that you’ve been waiting for all year was to start planning your wedding, you’re in good luck! With COVID-19 cases dropping every day, the state of Massachusetts decided it was time to start ringing those wedding bells. And more states are going to following suit.

COVID-19 has put everything on pause for an entire year. Weddings, funerals, graduations, other important, life-changing get togethers…these have all been put to a hold because of the virus that is still raging. But due to the cases getting lower and the vaccinations getting higher, it was only a matter of time before we all break out our suits and dresses.

As of right now, the state of Massachusetts is allowing no more than 100 people to attend a ceremony and reception. And even though that might cut the list incredibly short, it is still so nice to be able to look forward to something again. Because of the pandemic, we have seen numerous jobs lost in the event planning industry. Not only that, but we have seen the amount being spent on things such as weddings and other events was cut in half within the last year.

Now people are able to get their jobs back and throw a kickass party! What better way to stick your tongue out to COVID-19 than to throw a nice party in its face. Of course, these get togethers must follow safety guidelines which means social distancing and mask wearing. But for the most part, I think it’s safe to say that everyone is looking forward to a bright future ahead.
