Wonder Group, Inc., the food delivery company founded by serial entrepreneur Marc Lore, said Thursday it has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range have not yet been determined, the company said in a press release. The offering remains subject to market conditions and the completion of the SEC’s review process.

Founded in 2018, Wonder runs food hall-style locations where customers can order meals from multiple restaurant brands through a single platform, with the company handling meal preparation, delivery, pickup, and dine-in service. Lore previously founded Jet.com and Diapers.com.

The company has grown in part through acquisitions. According to TechCrunch, its deals include meal-kit company Blue Apron, restaurant delivery platform Grubhub, media company Tastemade, and kitchen robotics company Spyce.

Wonder has also raised significant private capital. TechCrunch reports that the company announced a funding round of more than $650 million in July at a valuation of around $9 billion, with investors including Accel, GV, AllianceBernstein, and ARK Invest.

Its expansion plans include a push into Texas, where the company aims to open more than 100 locations by the end of 2027, and a $425 million partnership with DoorDash covering campus dining at 450 colleges and universities, TechCrunch reports. The company has also launched Wonder Create, a platform that lets food entrepreneurs and influencers develop restaurant concepts and menu items.

The filing lands as the food delivery map keeps shifting. Amazon recently ended its Grubhub perk for Prime members and named Uber Eats its restaurant delivery partner instead, leaving Grubhub’s future more closely tied to Wonder’s own trajectory.

Because the filing is confidential, Wonder’s financials are not yet public, and the company has not said when a listing could take place.
