Despite its name, the new soda does not taste like marshmallows. According to Coke, the drink’s “unexpected magic” is similar to the surprise drops of Phil Marshmallow. Instead, the drink is a blend of strawberry and watermelon flavors.

One reporter who tried the soda said it smelled like gummy bears soaked in Coca Cola and had an aftertaste resembling Fruit Strike gum. It might be assumed that an artist named Marshmallow would create a soda with marshmallow flavor, but this is not the case.

However, Coca Cola is not finished introducing new flavors. Shortly after Pepsi announced the return of Peeps, Coke announced that it would also release a new flavor.

Coca-Cola has launched a new partnership with Grammy-winning artist Rosalia, called “move”. The taste of the new drink is not yet clear, as the senior director of global strategy at Coca-Cola suggested that the focus is more on creating a movement rather than a specific flavor.
