Discover what makes Adam Neumann’s new co-living venture in Saudi Arabia stand out

Adam Neumann

Adam Neumann’s co-living startup, Flow, has taken a significant step in its global expansion with the launch of a new residential community in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This innovative space features 238 fully furnished apartments designed to offer residents a unique blend of modern living and luxury amenities.

A Look at the New Co-Living Experience

The grand opening of Flow in Riyadh was celebrated with an Aztec-themed hot chocolate ceremony, setting a warm and inviting tone for future residents. With monthly rentals starting at $3,500, these apartments come with hotel-style services, including laundry, housekeeping, swimming pools, and co-ed gyms—an unusual feature in Saudi Arabia. Bowling alleys and additional recreational spaces further enhance the living experience.

Expansion Plans and Future Growth

Flow has ambitious plans beyond this initial development. The company aims to build three more co-living properties within Riyadh, which will house a combined total of nearly 1,000 apartments. This marks a key step in Flow’s mission to create co-living environments tailored to modern urban dwellers.

Funding and Adam Neumann’s Legacy

In 2022, Flow secured $350 million in funding from top investors like Andreessen Horowitz. This investment came with heightened attention due to Neumann’s controversial past with WeWork, which once reached a $47 billion valuation before its high-profile collapse. WeWork eventually filed for bankruptcy and was acquired by Yardi for $450 million.

Flow is positioning itself to redefine the co-living market while managing the challenges of its founder’s history, offering a fresh take on urban living that combines innovation with a luxurious lifestyle.
