Speaker Bios:
Sandra Wong is founder and co-CEO of Quantaloop technologies, a planet regeneration company. She has a 17+ year background in technology, design building things for the web. She has consulted for 50+ companies in industries including gaming, natural resources & entertainment. Sandra is specialized in UIUX, product development & digital marketing.
Dallas Barnes is the Founder and CEO of the femtech startup Reya Health. Reya helps womxn find the right birth control option for them through personalized information and care. Before this, she mentored and coached small businesses. She is a strong advocate for womxn's health, sexual health and reproductive rights. Dallas is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion.
Valerie Song, BC 30 Under 30 winner, is the CEO of AVA, a startup making smart indoor gardens to help people grow food at home. Valerie is a passionate and bold leader that loves growing both plants and people. While working in brand management and sales at blue-chip consumer product companies, she found a passion for brand building. She launched, marketed, and sold products from organic granola to craft beer. Under her leadership, AVA has gone to raise $180K in crowdfunding, $3M in funding, and 15 different awards around the world. Outside of work, Valerie is a proud advocate for diversity and inclusion, volunteering as guest speaker and mentor to youth and women in STEM.
Ivanni Tayabas has a degree in Business Administration and Engineering in Technology Manufacturing at the University del Valle de Mexico. She is the founder of several technology and social innovation projects in Latam. With a 10-year career in the technology industry, she currently serves as Global Head Strategic Alliances at NT Group (Co-founder of this group) and is also part of several international committees of women in tech. Member of TED Talks community for Mexico and member of the Mexican Association of Women Business Leaders. Ivanni is one of the founders of CDI (Community Directors in Innovation) and since 2019 is the national leader of WIT (Women in Technology) for AMITI, the Mexican Technology Association. She is passionate about traveling, surfing, learning about other cultures and above all, facilitating change that allows progress and positive evolution of the environment and society, hand in hand with technology.
